Stoner’s Pizza Joint, Dunkin’ Open Inside The Mix Student Apartments

21 February 22

The Mix student apartments recently welcomed two new tenants, Stoner’s Pizza Joint and Dunkin’, at 120 Piedmont Ave. NE, adjacent Georgia State University (GSU). Both restaurants, which share a space, are from Barkat Colabawala under parent company ZSC Enterprises which now owns and operates 20 Dunkin’ locations throughout Georgia.

It’s unclear if Stoner’s Pizza Joint is doing anything special for its grand opening but Dunkin’ on Thursday, August 27 is offering guests a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

As with a location also opening Thursday not far away in the Hanover Midtown building, the new, 1,500-square-foot downtown Dunkin’ is a “next-generation” location. Elements of the new restaurant include fully-integrated digital kiosks for self-ordering and an “innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee, and nitro infused cold brew coffee.”

Dunkin’ will be open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will offer complimentary Wi-Fi. Currently, the vast majority of Dunkin’ restaurants across the country remain open and have put enhanced preventative health and safety measures in place. Guests can order and pay contactless on the Dunkin’ App for a quick, grab-and-go experience.

The Mix, a development from South City Partners, opened a year ago, featuring nearly 700 beds for GSU students above 8,200 square feet of retail space that in addition to Stoner’s and Dunkin’, includes an urban format RaceTrac.
